One of the best I have read in a long time. I cried but was still so happy at the end of the book. The World War II novels have been saturating the market but this is by far the best one I have read in that genre. Worth the read and the tissues.

What a great book showing the strength of women in an absolute devastating time. A true page turner until the last page. I would love a sequel to fill in the large gap after the war and till 1995 when the book starts out

I loved this book about two French sisters during WWII, both doing what they think is best. They seem quite different at first, but are much more similar then they think.
