Anyone who reads my reviews knows I give few books 5 stars. Well, this is one that truly deserves it.

I know there are various opinions on this book, and yes EVERYTHING that could happen to a woman in Nazi occupied France, happens to the women in this book, but I loved it. The author added so much emotion to this book, and made me feel the absolute horror of war. I listened on audible, and found myself wanting to race through it, even though it was very upsetting at times.
