I didn't really like it at first, way too cliché. But the authors do write in such a way, that even through the trite mega-powerful, awesome bodied, insta-lust drivel, endearing characters and an interesting storyline wins out. Nevada & Rogan have grown on me, I just hope the next books get better & better. ...more

A new magical world. It wasn't the best book I have read about a magic but it was decent. I will likely read book 2 of the series to see how it goes.
I enjoyed Nevada's personality. She had rich men all around her trying to entice her but she stayed true to herself. Mad Rogan will probably have a little more depth of character in book 2. ...more
