I am glad I finally got to start this series, I have been meaning to for a while now.
Unfortunately, I really didn't like the narrator in the audiobook version so it started off on the wrong foot. Even my husband said something and really he doesn't usually pay attention to when I am reading. XD
The story was decent but I have a feeling the series will get a lot better. It was kind of like watching the pilot of a new show.
Okay read! Looking forward to continuing the series.

Killing Floor by Lee Child is his debut novel and introduces Jack Reacher. Former military policeman and now drifter Jack Reacher is passing through Margrave, Georgia when he is arrested on suspicion of murder. An amazing action packed thriller which I loved. This is the first book I have read by this author, although have seen the movie and the book is so much better. Rather gruesome in places but otherwise and enjoyable adrenalin packed adventure which was hard to put down.
This was what I consider "escape reading" - the readers equivalent to watching an action flick. It is certainly not great literature but I found it engaging and very entertaining. Though at times it was a little predictable. But I enjoyed the ride and found the characters interesting. I will be reading the next one.
