What Members Thought
I enjoyed the rest of the series, but this one not so much. I had so many problems with America as a main character. It was ridiculous. She made so many dumb mistakes. Even with all of the issues I had with the book, I still enjoyed being back in the setting of Illya (probably spelled that wrong.)

I'm really bummed about this book right now. I really hate the tension that exists in a sort-of love triangle, especially when the same tension is there for three books straight. But I also am really bummed that all that tension has now ended. However, the reason is not that it has ended, but how it ended. (view spoiler)

I just couldn't really get into the story as much as I would have liked to. Maybe that was due to a book hangover from the angelfall series. The characters just seemed really weak in comparison and it felt too soft washed, although I liked some aspects of the story. Also feel like many things were left unresolved or the author took the easy way out by eliminating characters without giving a satisfying conclusion. ...more
