What Members Thought
This will be the third time I have tried to get into this book. Have found the beginning so tedious I can't get past the first 30 pages. This time I vow to read to 75 pages before I give up for the last time.

The ONLY reason that this is getting four stars and not five, is because of the pacing. Maybe that is not a big deal to some, but pacing is a real big deal in story telling. The pacing of the story was really slow. It took awhile to get into it. Other than that, I would definately recommend this book. Also, I probably would not read it again (not because of the content, just simply because it's too boring to read again, hence again the pacing).

Superb first book in the series. Once the story got past all the slow world building the first four chapters the story picked up whether swiftly. (Smart move by author despite my early boredom.) Hope book two lives up to expectations.
