Wow, wow, wow. This book is fabulous; how did I never read it before now? I listened to the audio book and I am positive I will eventually want to READ this book again, it's that good. I learned so much about the Congo and Africa; very interesting! I especially liked how the book was told from 5 different points of view of the women in the family, and spanned over 30 years.

WOW... It just left me wanting more. I started it with an open mind thinking it might bore me but this was not the case it kept my full attention throughout the book. One of my favourite books of all time!!!!!
Amazing book. I don't know how to describe it. I'm still mulling it over and trying to get interested in something else.
