What Members Thought
I like to read books about books. This one was slight and not particularly special. I would rather recommend My Life with Bob by Pamela Paul. One thing I did notice about Hood's book is how she described her (reading) life as heavily influenced by white male authors. There was only one chapter which highlighted a book by a female author (Sylvia Plath). This is probably a result of what was available at her small hometown library in the 1960s and 1970s but it did stick out that the books that she
