This book made me think like no other has in a long time. I was shocked by the similarities I noticed from my time in the fertility clinic to the fertility methods in the book. I was forced to consider the trade offs our society makes between peace and individuality. I was made to ponder the type of life one must lead to be able to appreciate great works of art. Perhaps most of all I gained some appreciation for life’s unpleasantness.
