I liked Shelly's language. It's strange and sweet. At leas for me - English is my second language. It's 19th century English but still quite easy to read.
I didn't like the way how it's set up: Mr Frankenstein sits and tells the captain his whole life story and then in the meantime the creature also tells his life story, and so on. I don't know much about literature theory and if this was a usual way how they told stories in the 19th century but it sound weird to me.
