I closed the back cover on Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. Fabulous. It is one of those classics that I shake my head and think, "WHY haven't I read this before?" In a world where TV's keep getting larger, sports teams more "important", fun and vacations are deemed to be "needs" not "wants", where we eat in front of the television and text instead of talk, this book should be mandatory reading... AND followed by mandatory discussion, in every classroom. ...more
