What Members Thought

Below are the issues that this book brings up:
1) racial profiling during time of war - Were the Japanese internment camps justified? Why was there no German internment camps? It is really easier to identify with people who look like "us" rather than "them" regardless of the similarities of the way we live?
2) racial prejudism? America is great because in a democracy self-correcting can take place.
