What Members Thought

I have viddied Stanley Kubrick’s film prod of this book more times than I care to count. It is real horrorshow, oh my sisters, and, as it unspools in the sinny, it always makes a starry ptitsa like myself feel all the little malenky hairs on my plott standing endwise and shivers crawling up like slow malenky lizards and then down again. Your humble narrator felt like it was well past time to read the book for herself so she ittied her way to the old biblio to skvat herself a copy.

I liked it much better after I got used to the slang. I still think you can write a good book without it, it maybe makes it a little bit inacessible for some. Still I can see why it has become a classic.

This book was disturbing. It did not hold my interest though. The slang was a little over the top and that detracted a bit.
