What Members Thought
I saw the movie adaption of this book while it was in the theaters 20ish years ago, and loved it. So, although this book is very rich and atmospheric I was slightly disappointed. I expected a big five stars.
And there are many things that I loved. The descriptions of Savannah are lush and hot... I could feel the humidity and see the ornate homes. I felt like I was there.
