I was convinced I had read this before, but now I am not so sure. Maybe I just thought that because I remember the star-studded film by Sidney Lumet.

This was a really fun murder mystery, and I can honestly say that I did not see that twist coming! Ha! It was a great storyline with lots of twists and turns, lots of possible suspects, and lots of clues - some actual clues, but some to throw you off the trail. I am not a fan of Sherlock Holmes because his reveals are often so vague, sometimes characters that were never even introduced, which made them frustrating and impossible to figure out. This was a great mystery. Murder on the Orient Express is the first novel of Agatha Christie that I've read and glad that I did. Detective Hercule Poirot is such a dandy & wise character who cracks a murder case of an odd rich fellow who stabbed many times and had a filthy secret behind it. The story was very intising and thrilling. The characters(passengers) that Agatha Christie created were beautifully and some a bit unique to each of their personality.
