Wow! Why have I never read Agatha Christie before? This book was really fun. Each character was unique. Hercule Poirot was intelligent and guided me through the story with a simplicity that I found interesting for a mystery novel protagonist. I listened to the audio version and I am really glad that I did because each character was voiced with a distinctive voice and accent. I could have never done their voices justice.
There are already more than 18,000 reviews on this book, so I don’t have much to say! Read it if you haven’t and reread it if you’ve only read it once. I went through an Agatha Christie reading phase around 6 th grade but I never read this book. I listened to the BBC podcast World Book Club and this book was the topic and my interest was piqued.

I really enjoyed this one! I can see why Agatha Christie is the "Queen of Mystery." Well written, great characters (I really liked Hercule Poirot) and it kept me guessing to the end.

This book was a waste of a reader's time. The writing was average at best. The formula was obvious. I understand that Christie may have invented the formula but I'm not impressed with how she just laid it out. Spoiler alert: they tell you who did it and then do NOTHING about it. There was no point to writing the three hundred plus pages!!!
