Love this book! Charlie is a poor child who is lucky enough to find a ticket to a chocolate factory that is closed to the public due to spies. Five children find ticket in chocolate bars and will receive enough chocolate to last them a lifetime. Read this book for much laughter and joy. The songs sung are so true and funny! while there are many lessons for children there is much fun as well.
I read this book (probably more than once) in elementary school and loved it! The fact that my dad worked for a candy company didn't hurt! :)
