I became increasingly more disgruntled with religious doctrine the further along I got.
It's easy to agree with a murderer being punished or tortured.
Other sins? Not so much. Especially ones that ones that you're supposedly forgiven for.


As a general note, I've read The Inferno before in other translations and while this was easier to understand, in terms of literary quality, I think I enjoyed the terza rima translation more, so if I'd chosen a
