YOUTH FICTION AT ITS BEST.

I had never read the Anne of Green Gables series, but it is one of my daughter's favorites. So, although I don't generally enjoy ready young adult and youth books now, I decided that I was going to see what the fuss was all about. And my daughter is right. This book was wonderfully written. Oh! It was better than I remembered. I laughed out loud so many times; I can't remember the last time a book made me laugh like that, and so often. And I cried like a fool at the end. It's been so long (20 years, I suppose), I'd all together forgotten how it ended.

So glad I revisited this one. A childhood favorite that stands the test of time.
