Quite a deal more lighthearted than her Mansfield Park and it works a great deal better as a typical romance novel, though I still feel a bit cheated in regards to the relationship between (view spoiler). It felt a lot more like she was just taking reconciling herself to the sensible choice and finding sensibility in the process - which I guess was Ms. Austen's intention since she plays with the notions of sense vs sensibility throughout the whole no ...more
