It is really hard to rate this book since it seems that this is a mix of cheesiness and cliche but it is also unpredictable and thrilling. It has some terrible parts but there are also amazing parts.
Pros:
1. I love the title 1st to die and my assumption to who will be the "1st to die" is wrong so I guess that is a plus point for the book.
2. I really like the murder scenes it is very grotesquely describe that it made me shiver just imagining them.

This mystery/suspense thriller was a real page turner. I couldn't put it down. I was an avid fan of the Women's Murder Club TV series and knew I would like the books if I ever got around to reading them. This first installment kept me on the edge of my seat, but I have to say that I didn't like the ending. James Patterson weaves a very complex plot with many twists and turns. Always keeps you guessing.

Just Okay. The usual James patterson mystery book. But it's quite creepy :))
Rate 1-10. I would give this a 6.

I can't wait to continue this series. This book was amazing and the characters are all strong women. I loved Lindsay, Claire, Cindy but you don't really get a good feel for Jill in this book. I can't wait to read more so I can get to know her better. I do have to say that the ending was not far for Lindsay.
