It was a fast read. I liked the characters. The action and concept was awesome. I liked the interaction between the characters. He did an awesome job on character development and the face pace of the story.
The plot involved these super-human kids, and the scientist wanted them back, at any cost. However, you never really were able to confirm – Why? Why were they so much more special than the other altered beings?

I liked it, it was bad-ass, full of action and adventure. I really loved Max she's strong, dependable and she's a great leader. The story kind of remind me of X-men because they're like these half bird, half human mutants and they could fly and some of them has other abilities. Like Angel she could read minds, influence people through the mind and breathe under water. I think Iggy has a good ear but he's blind and he's good at opening locks. Maximum Ride was an excellent read. I applaud Patterson's performance in this novel. He did a great job of filling the pages with as much action as possible. I never felt bored or like I had to wait for something exciting to happen. Patterson also included the element of humor. Much of the novel's content is of the characters' dismal memories of the dreaded School. Even though he set himself up for this disadvantage, Patterson still managed to create humor and I find myself laughing out loud at
