i almost cried reading this book. it was so good but sad at the same time. a lot of things that happened to Gabrielle was totally out of her control and that just made it worse. overall i loved this landry series. it was not as good as the Casteel series but it had its own style to it.
It will always annoy me that the ghost writer changed her name from Gabrielle in the first books to Gabriel in this one--and it was his own series from the start! I will be calling her "Gabrielle" despite how it's spelled in this book. There's also a couple of other inconsistencies regarding what is said about Gabrielle's character in some of the other books, which annoys me.
