So, when I saw that this series had movies coming out, I kind of wanted to reread it for nostalgia reasons. Then on YouTube, they have the Garbaugust challenge going on where you read things that could be considered trashy, and well. Let's just call this my unofficial Garbaugust nostalgic read.

The first one I read of V.C. Andrews' novels before I knew they had a particular order. It was good. It's probably the reason I started reading her books.
