This was the second V.C. series I read and it made me want to read all of her books. Flowers in the attic focuses on a woman and her 4 children who suddenly become husbandless & fatherless. The woman writes to her parents who grudgingly let her and the children move back home. But the catch is the children must be locked in the attic so she can win back her father's love. The book focuses on the 4 children and their lives in the attic. It is sordid and talks about disturbing things but is noneth
