Emilia Nightingale has been summoned home from her transient lifestyle of a teacher of the English Language to the bedside of her dying father. Emilia always thought that her father and the family business, Nightingale Books, would be around forever. Now she faces the potential loss of them both. She promises her father that she will not sell the bookshop but can she really keep that promise?

I really enjoyed this audiobook. The voice actor kept me engaged with different voices for the characters. The story moves along at a good pace so that you don't get easily bored with it. I liked how the book tied the tale of each relationship back to the bookshop and how Emilia's father and the shop influenced those involved.

I think my friends that are constantly reading might enjoy this as well as those that like those set in England.
