About 100 pages into this book, I was so ready to give up. Absolutely NOTHING had happened between Pippa and Cross and I was just getting annoyed. I'm so happy, though, that I didn't give up on this one because I was in love with the story by the end.

2019 Audio update:I didn't quite enjoy the audio version of this book as much as I enjoyed reading it on kindle a few years ago. I'm not sure if that was because I was listening on audio, something that can take me out of a story enough to harm my enjoyment of it, or if it was just that I am older and my reading tastes have changed a bit. I still did enjoy this story, but the unrealistic nature of it struck me more this time around. It seems weird to complain about realism when reading a regency
