This was just an okay, serviceable, HR. Nothing special, and based on the fact that a week later I could only remember the lamb, nothing particularly memorable. I had just gotten back into Dare after reading the hilarious A Week to be Wicked, and had high hopes. I did like the highly feminized Spindle Cove, with the gruff menfolk "reduced" to dainty activities like fancy-frosting cakes and repairing jewelry. But that's pretty much it. This is my second trip to Spindle Cove and I must admit that Tessa Dare's story-line is both enthralling and superb. I started backwards I read the latest book out in this series not realizing that it was part of a series. I since have read the first and am now work on the novella between the first book and the second.

Okay, so I'm done reading this and I have to say that it is actually quite good.
I read A Week To Be Wicked (Colin's and Minerva's story) first, which is the second installation of this series, before reading this book. And I HAVE to say that Bram's and Susanna's story is slightly better. No, really.
I know many of you prefer Colin and Minerva's book but hey, I just happened to like this one better, well, just a tiny bit more. And yes, I would recommend you to read this book because it's funny, ...more
