I feel exactly like that dude, seriously. It was one of those "it's not you, it's me" kind of books.

The writing is good, though a bit flowery, what I didn't like were:
- the characters(all of them): the hero who's supposedly mad, the heroine who's a destitute widow, the uncle that we don't even see yet, the disgusting henchmen/jailers.
- the plot: abducting a woman(presumed prostitute) from the street to be used buy a "mad" marquees all thought by the evil uncle. I su ...more

Boleh jugalah. Meski ceritanya kebanyakan hanya ada di satu tempat doang, di rumah tempat Matthew Marquess of Sheene dikurung. Kasihan banget si Grace, diculik karena disangka wanita penghibur supaya bisa membuat Matthew betah dan gak kabur-kaburan lagi. Sayang kekurangan dari novel ini adalah adanya kekerasan yang dialami oleh Grace, bikin kesel waktu bacanya, terlalu kasihan dia harus mengalami pelecehan seksual dari orang bawahan pamannya Matthew.
