Happy New Year!

I'm half way through Rock Addiction (Rock Kiss #1) by Nalini Singh. I'm planning on reading her novella- Rock Courtship next.

Happy New Year to you too, Okie!

I devoured four Sarah Addison Allen books last week and am waiting on Lost Lake from the library.

Because I was reminded of Lisa Kleypas' Friday Harbor series so I read Rainshadow Road over the weekend.

Just finished Tessa Dare's new book. I really liked it, although I got really annoyed that Rafe kept ignoring Chloe's point that she just didnt want to marry his brother and his brother didn't really want her. And I didn't find the brother's excuse for being gone 8 years acceptable. Still, given that premise, the book was charming. Next up Miranda Neville's new book and Susanna Fraser's.

I agree about Rafe's selective hearing but overall it was such a great book. Do you get the feeling that the author is keeping the brother's backstory deliberately vague to use him later? Maybe not in this series, but in a future one?

This week I'm anticipating the release of Erin Knightley's The Earl I Adore and finishing up The Earl's Dilemma.

Phoenix, yes I do.

It is the second book with a prizefighter hero I read recently...not sure that is a trend I want to see grow!

Speaking of Miranda Neville, Deb, can I just say that I'm Still in love with her- The Duke of Dark Desires cover. Idk what it is about that cover, but it calls to me..makes me fawn over it.

I really enjoyed the new Miranda Neville. She always manages to bring a fresh spin to the Regency. And I always enjoy her art and antiques angle.

Irisheyes | 896 comments The Susanna Fraser new release was a very pleasant surprise I discovered over the weekend, Deb. I had no idea she had a new one out. Pre-ordered it yesterday and it's on my Nook today! Yay!

I'm re-reading BEFORE JAMAICA LANE by Samantha Young and then it's on to Susanna Fraser's FREEDOM TO LOVE.

I've been in a Christmas novella fog for the past couple of weeks. I bought a couple of anthologies and have been working my way through them. I'm ready for a change. :)

I gave the amorous education of Celia Seaton five stars. I also really liked the importance of being wicked.

Rachel Hill | 487 comments I wasn't impressed with Tessa Dares new book as I was with her last castles book. It was a solid 4. I've been reading some of favorite random books like Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas (love me some Sebastian)! And just been feeling Bleh lately trying to find something good.
