I was a little nervous about starting this book because there were considerably more negative reviews to this book than the previous books in the Bridgertons series. I had enjoyed these books so much that I didn't want to spoil my enjoyment by reading one that would leave me with a sour taste in my mouth. Just as ever, this book is just a delight in a series of delights that is the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn
at first, it felt SO WEIRD to see Hyacinth all grown up and acting like .. well a woman but we did see her grow up and it felt like seeing your own child fall in love.
Hyacinth and Gareth are so lovely together, it did feel like they complete each other and bring out the best in each other. It does truly feeling like Hyacinth brings out the best in Gareth in particular and he has become ...more
