This story is a bit different then the rest in the series. You finally realize why Eloise has those ink stains on her finger. Eloise runs away in the middle of the night to Sir Phillips. This story is about what happens when she gets to his home and how their relationship evolves from one of pen pals to something more. Eloise...I didn't know she was my favorite heroine until she was. I am swooning too often with the Bridgertons, I know that, but I can't help it either. One thing I wish I had read was her reaction to the non-marriage news of the previous book about Penelope. I really wanted a moment with Eloise and Penelope, but I think of them as my own best friends, so I could be greedy.
