Becca Fitzpatrick's Crescendo, the follow up to last years breakout hit Hush, Hush, hits a high note. The story starts with Nora and Patch's relationship in that wonderfully beautiful bliss that is first love. But secrets and jealously put everything in jeopardy. Soon Nora and Patch's relationship along with his guardianship hits splitsville. And it couldn't have come at a worst time, because someone is trying to kill Nora.

Nora's rivalry with the local mean girl Marcie heats up as she goes afte

I'm in a crossroad here: I didn't hate all the book, but I didn't love it either...for me it was ok.

The cover was amazing and inspired me to buy the book because it is a beautiful-intense-buy-me-and-bring-me-home cover. But, Nora is not my favorite character, I wanted to kill Vee with a passion and strangle Patch for the stupidity of being with Marcie. Marcie was the only consistent character throughtout this book...So the book was ok but the final cliff was my undoing...I'll read the last one j

I liked the book as well as hush hush book1, but not enough for me to go out and grab book 3, I'm waiting for it to go on sale like in the used section in Hastings where it's like 3 bucks. I can't stop reading the books because I'm already invested but I'm in no hurry to find out what's next.

Besides Nora acting jerky and dumb, the sequel to the seris Hush, Hush was pretty good.... Looking forward to reading book 3!

I found it humorous to see everything from Nora's crazy point of view. There was a little drama overkill but if illogical and careless was the intended character trait for Nora, then the author did a fantastic job. I am a lost on where the 3rd novel will pick up but I am sure it will prove to entertain me none-the-less.

The world of angels, fallen and Nephilim is one that I find intriguing. Although there was some background information on them I am pleased to not be given dictionary regurgitatio
