This book wasn't one of my favorites in the series. The relationship aspect reminded me a lot of Vane and Bride's book, and the plot, though new, soon became predictable. I didn't care for Nick's character in this book, and I'm hoping that he's different in the upcoming books.

That being said, it has to be difficult to write such an extended series of pnr books - options are limited, especially when we all know what the overall ending will be. I am curious to see how the new twist introduced in t ...more

This installment was a bit different for me....like it, but not my fave. I thought the ending was a struggle for me to get to.
