Chilling, fast paced and haunting.

I have to say this novel is NOT one you can read while tired, or with other things on your mind, there's WAY to much going on and if you miss something, it can really hurt the story...I wanted to finish last night but after having to reread things, I decided to give up and finish during the light of day.

It's intricate details are amazing - this plot is one of the best one's I have ever read, so thought out, each "element" fitting precisely in the correct place ...more

I love a good ghost story, and Intrinsical didn't disappoint. I thought it was so different from other YA ghost stories I've read. I loved watching Yara come to terms with her abilities and the major twist (there are a few) that happens, and the place it happens blew me away. I enjoyed seeing Yara's relationship with Brent grow, and I appreciated that it happened over time instead of the two of them falling head over feet in love immediately. I'm excited to see what happens in the next two books ...more

Wow! This book sucks you in pretty quick. I read it in 24 hours. The description sounds kind of cliche and a bit unimaginative, but it is the opposite. It is hard to predict and was pretty intense. I wish it was more accessible and that I had a hard copy to pass around. (I read it on the Kindle.) I want to share it with others. I want someone to talk with about it.

Such a great book, and a fascinating story about ghosts. I couldn't put it down. I loved the characters... Yara, Cherie, Brent and Steve. The characters are well developed, and I found them really interesting. I loved that Yara is a strong character without being a cliche. Yara and Brent's relationship is great to watch unfold. I like that their relationship is complex and that she doesn't let him win all the fights, and that they challenge each other in a good way. I can't wait to read the next ...more
