I really liked this book in the series. I think this was the first book that got to really get into some character development. The Bella/Z story line is just as heart strumming as the Phury/Z story line. Z was/is continually stamped as damaged, broken and beyond repair by everyone and to have him get pieced back together with the help of everyone really was a page turner for me.

Another great story line but full of adult material.
I know everyone has been raving about the whole series, but I've found myself able to step away from the series after this book. It's not to say the rest of the books aren't good or anything. It's not my cup of tea so to speak and I've got such a huge list of other books to read. The last two books I've read from this series have been good.

This one was a dark topic that was difficult to read about, but by golly, J.R. Ward somehow made it work!
I love Z's story and know why Bella fell in love with him! He is even better as a bonded male:)
