Shiver introduced me to Maggie Stiefvater’s unbelievably beautiful writing and as soon as I was done, I wanted the sequel right away. Linger must have been my most anticipated sequel of the first half of the year and it really lived up to my expectations.
Although Grace’s part of the story should have been the most interesting, it wasn’t. Well, for me anyway. I had guessed what was going to happen with her very early on so I kind of stopped thinking about it until it actually happened. That asid ...more

I immediately picked up this book when I finished Shiver (which I absolutely LOVED) because I had to know what happed with Sam and Grace! The tone of this book is very different from Shiver, while it is still extremely obvious that Sam and Grace are head over heels in love with each other there is always the foreboding feeling in the background of trouble brewing.

I don't know whether I liked this book or not. There's something about Maggie Stiefvater's books that I can't name, something that pulls you in. So yeah I did enjoy reading it and all, but it was nothing comparing to Shiver! Maybe it's because of my high expectation or maybe because I had to wait for too long to get it. But i think it's mostly because.. it went kind of slow.. too slow. It only got exciting in the end. and just when things were getting better it ended.

Amazing. This book was just amazing. Maggie's writing style is so beautiful. The book could be one very long poem. And in this poem is a beautiful story, full of amazing characters. I could never write a review to do this book justice so: Just read it, you'll love it!
