The angel's cry golden tears.

The first thing that drew me into this fantastical tale was the cover. I'm very visual so this vividly brought the beauty the book to life before even reading one word (along with generating questions). Who is this angel? Why is she crying? Shadow of the Sun is a brilliant book. I was completely blown away by the story! I loved how it was written. Laura Kreitzer is clearly a talented writer. The words flowed together effortlessly in a way that made it addicting to read.

Sigh...Andrew. Oh, how I love you!

Shadow of the Sun is a thoroughly enjoyable read. Author Laura Kreitzer has done a fabulous job placing a fresh and original spin on angels, which are widely popular right now in the paranormal genre. The story is fast paced, full of suspense and hot angel heroes that leave your girlie bits tingling. Can't wait to read the sequel, Soul Stalker. Nice book to read over the holiday weekend :)
