As a fan of the Twilight books, I was both excited and anxious when I heard a graphic novel interpretation was being made. Excited because I love graphic novels. Anxious because I don't like manga. I've had tons of friends suggest manga they thought I'd love or that they said was just so good I had to read it but in the end the verdict was the same: manga is not for me. I have nothing against it, I just personally don't really care for it. A lot of times it looks messy & cluttered. That being sa

I've never reviewed a graphic novel before. So I'm not quite sure how to do this one. But since it's a twilight-related I think I'll find a way around it.
The pictures were just lovely, and expressed the book very well. They were mostly grayish or brownish though, and had some very little splashes of colors every once in a while.
It was strictly close to the book. The scenes, the cars, the people, they were all drawn just like they were described in the book in a lovely way, that I couldn't not ap ...more

I really like the way the Twilight Graphic Novel was done. The cover is beautiful and I thought the illustrations were well done. I so wanted to love this book but alast I did not. I liked it some but I found a LOT of things that bugged me.
One: Most of the story was told WAY out of order.
Two: It's was like, BOOM. Bella moves to forks. Boom. She meets new friends and Edward. BOOM, guest what Edward is a vampire. BOOM. I am in love after knowing him for a week.... BOOM! Watch me sparkle and run fast. I totally loved the twilight books, but this one was a bad take on the series.

The art in this book was beautiful! The only thing I was disappointed about was the abrupt ending. I didn't realize it was only half of Twilight. :-/ Dang!
