I absolutely loved returning to Gatlin County in Beautiful Darkness. The cover sets the perfect tone for what is revealed within it's pages. It's beautiful, haunting, twisty and I found myself a lot more emotionally invested in this wondeful sequel.

Kami & Margie have this unique talent for making me feel like I'm apart of Ethan and Lena's world. Whether that be searching the Castor tunnels, in the caves and the forest that are apart of Gatlin county, the Caster world in which Ethan is introduced

Welcome back to Gatlin, where the sweet tea contains a pound of sugar, gossiping is the favorite town activity, and Casters walk alongside Mortals.

I loved returning to the world that Kami and Margaret created in Beautiful Creatures. Everything is so descriptive that the setting truly comes alive when reading. I really wanted to enjoy this book. Especially if they keep making movies for this series. I always like to read the book before I see the movie, but they are just too darn long to not completely enjoy. The ending makes me want to know what happens next, and there were a few interesting twists thrown in. I'm not sure if it was quite enough to make me read the next book. Maybe.
