I gave 4 stars to this book. But still I can't believe because there were times when I really thought this book was not perfect; I'm not saying it was boring or lagging; but something was missing. Then somewhere I started to enjoy this book.
Cassandra Clare's writing style and the pictures she gave about the Victorian England was really amazing.
I like Jem's character.He is so calm and energetic. Love Will's annoying behavior and Tessa courage:-) And its really nice to know more about the Shadow ...more

Angels:
If your a fan of Ms. Clare's first trilogy than your going to love Clockwork as well. I have to admit, I was not particularly excited about this book, because I really wasn't ready to move on from the City of series and it's characters, but I really enjoyed this book. I am a convert, and the last page left me wanting more. Clare does it again in the Mortal Instruments' prequel Clockwork Angel. The language and dialogue was extremely witty, I found the VIctorian era suited this paranormal ...more

Loved this like whoa!!
World Building: Amazing! Nothing beats a London setting, and the mix of elements here was just brilliant. Loved everything, the creatures, the magic, the steampunk elements, it was amazing.
Characters: Brilliant work, Tessa, Will, Jem - they were all just brilliant. Super charismatic, unique voices, strong characters and development, they made sense through and through. Brilliant work with the rest of them too, the Magister twist was genius and all other charact ...more
