You can't help but like ex-cop Stacy who can't get away from murder. Her new best friend is murdered for no apparent reason and, of course, the cops aren't moving fast enough for Stacy. She does her own investigating feeding information to Spencer who is reluctant to involve Stacy, the civilian regardless of her law enforcement background.
