This was a disappointing entry in the series. I never felt much of a connection to Decker or Dani. I also didn't understand the time they spent on their relationship when there was something much more pressing going on (explained below in spoiler section). The villain is kind of sad and the ending isn't very satisfying. On the plus side, I am intrigued by Nicholas and it looks like the next book is about him.

Wow I really liked Decker and Danielle's story. Lots of danger, kidnapping, and angst. If you enjoyed the Argeneau series, then you'll love this one too. If you haven't read the rest of the series first, don't start with this one as the recurring characters will just confuse you.
