Loved it!
This is one of my favorite series, but this book just fell flat. Everything fell into place so easy and it was such a fast read. Started it over coffee this a.m. and just finished it and I did not spend all day reading. Most of the other books in this series have my heart racing and emotions on extreme highs and lows, but not this one. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, but I hope it picks of some speed and depth.
I liked it. Was a little confused with how long Cat retained some powers but lost others within a short while. Ending also seemed a bit contradictory and confusing. Still, the rest of the story moved decently and it was nice seeing previous characters again. More of a 3.5 rating for me, but I'll bump it up to 4 for all the funny one-liners. Looking forward to the next chapter of this series.

Great characters, really good story once it got going. Felt like I missed a book before this one, even though I've read all in the series and the 2 spin off books. Great twists. Glad to see Mencheres and Vlad more involved with the story. Look forward to the next book.
