4.5 stars because the situation is impossible and the story could've been deeply depressing. However, this is a story about resilience, forgiveness and recovery. It took the relationship between the characters to a deeper level. Loved it. ...more

This one was disappointing. On their way home, Laura, Keir and Keir's war-force encounter a village that has been decimated by plague. The illness soon spreads through the warrior ranks and Laura, as the only real healer amongst them, has to figure out a way to combat it. It may sound good, but there wasn't much time for Laura and Keir to be together in all of this.
