Read this book very slowly because you will throw it against the wall when it's over wishing it had never ended. Heathcliff is one of the best dark heroes around. It is a frightening tale of love and it is so painfully sad. You'll cry for days. This book will haunt you. It's an exceptional read.

One of those classic literature that, if you can get through the language style, you will find a complex and intriguing story. I truly understand why they categorize this novel as gothic, which is one of the reasons it will hold you till the end. The reason why I gave it 3 stars is because I was not fond of how the story was told. (by one of the servants to heathcliffs tenant) At times it was confusing and annoying.

I know, I'm probably one of two people in the world that didn't like this book. It was really dark and depressing. I kept waiting but, no, nothing.
