Re-read/listened to the audiobook version Jan'19

Okay, I think I'm officially hooked on this series. After reading and loving Naked in Death, I immediately jumped right into reading this, and it's another great book in an addictive series.

A great follow up to Naked in Death! Not as good and I guessed who the killer was somewhat early on, but still a wonderful read. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in Eve and Roarke's story - and interested to know what she says in response to his question at the end!!!

A decent enjoyable addition to a very good (so far) series. I'm not "in love" with Roarke yet, like most readers seem to be, but I like him and Eve together - just wish they were together a little more! BUT this is mystery, not romance, and the mystery was really good. B+

I wanted this one to be just as good as the first, and it was!
Lieutenant Eve Dallas is after a serial killer again. This time the madman is targeting powerful women, and Eve decides to make herself a target.
Although these books focus a lot on Eve's detective work, they definitely don't lack in the romance department. Roarke and Eve are getting closer, but she still isn't able to give herself completely to him. And Roarke is NOT ok with that. He finally tells her he wants all or nothing, then wa ...more
