I try hard not to buy physical books, operating on a one-in, one-out policy to keep the size of my library in check. I'm not sure which book is going out to make space for this one, but I'm glad I bought it, because the ebook wouldn't be the same. This is a gorgeous piece of printing, from the embossed and textured cover to the crisp interior color.

I did not realize this was horror despite the obvious tag! It's been on my tbr for ages and I'm glad I read it but it's nighttime and it gave me actual chills. There's not heroes in this, but horrific things. But done so well and prettily!
There are five stories and an intro and conclusion which despite being short were executed quite well. All stories are related to woods. The art style is pretty and changes a bit with each story. The concepts of th ...more
