5 stars!
I really love to read paranormal romance, especially in the RH genre.
The story was a bit different than the other RH I've read before, and that kept me interested.
The book wasn't too short, but I felt that it ended too soon before anything really happened.
And that's both good and bad for me. It means that the author took time building the foundation for this series, and you get to know the characters much better.

I liked this book. Sydney is a wolf shifter who has to find her mate while also uncovering family secrets. Sydney is kind of a brat but acknowledges it. My only problem with her is that she just lets her dad not tell her what's going on. She is supposed to be tough and dominant but just says ok tell me when your ready. Other than that I can't wait for the next book so we can get to know her potential mates.

I just couldn’t get into this book.
The main female character seemed very immature and quick to anger.
I couldn’t get past her attitude to enjoy the story.
I even tried skipping ahead to see if it would entice me to power through the beginning but I just couldn’t do it.
I hope others will read it though and enjoy it.
It seems like it could be a cool story but it just wasn’t for me.

it was...frustrating. i had a hard time tolerating the heroine and her father. i kind of pity joe and a few times feel nothing for him. that about summarizes it all. yes, nothing productive plot-wise happened. so i may or may not read the second installment. if i still had the same reaction to it, i'll probably won't be continuing.
