IMO the introduction novella was a little better. In this one we got to get to know the guys better but I felt that the heroine lost some of her strength, confidence, and spark that made her great in the novella.

I'll def be continuing with the series as its extremely interesting and fairly fast paced as two of the guys know she is to them and have been physical with her (tech three have been physical if you count a dream). ...more

Wonderful Story!

If paranormal RH romance is a genre you enjoy this story is amazing! It brings you into the characters lives. Making you understand a totally different people without over simplifying. A J Anders has invented a complex realm and characters that streched my imagination and made me care for them as if they were real! Got my heart beating for sure! Loved this book!!!

I absolutely adore the characters! Evie is perfect - she can make silly mistakes which is normal but doesn't overdo it, most of the time the choices she makes is a smart one. Love this girl! She's aces. Even though she kept her power a secret, when she needed to tell the guys she did without backing out. She may be young but she doesn't act like it and is mature beyond her years. I absolutely loved the moment she gave it to Cammie and held her own, she didn't cower away like yo Loved this book!!!

I don't think I even have a favourite, which usually by now I would with these types of books and I would want the MC to be with only them. . .but with this series, I want her to be with all of them! I would have liked her to have more scenes with Aaron and Xander because I want to get to know them more but I'm sure that will happen in the next book.

Both book 1 and 2 are soo well written, I was glued to my seat and read them in a day! This book gives the reader a fresh take on the supernatural world and the fact that they go to university which I don't think I have ever read before - or if they do, they go to a human university, not one that is specifically designed for them - was great to read. As someone who has a mouth like a trucker it was pretty damn sweet to read so much cussing in the book, but it's done well and when it's needed, only adding to the moment and it suits the boys personalities. I feel as if I already know what Evie is and am waiting to see if I'm right. It kind of seemed pretty obvious to me but then again that could just be a ploy to trick us and she turns out to be something completely different! The kissing scenes. . .wow and the dream with Jaxon. . . oh my god! Loving it all. . . I need more!!

The only thing I didn't like was that the book ended and now I have to wait ever so patiently for the next one to be released. . . I've only just finished it and I'm already feeling like I can't wait till #3 comes out!!

I really like Evie and this whole world that has been created BUT I feel like this book was anticlimactic. The book started off great but when it ended, I was left confused and unsatisfied because nothing really happened yet. There was no clear conclusion or cliff hanger, it seemed to just stop. I would have preferred to wait longer and the have book 2 and 3 be put together. That being said I really do love the guys and the story line this far. Dash, Cyn, and Jax are my favorites thus far.
